PBPD/PBOM
The Polarization-Diverse Balanced Photodetector (PBPD) is a maintenance-free photodetection module designed for polarization-sensitive sensor systems requiring high signal-to-noise ratio (SNR) and long-term stability.
The PBPD integrates a monolithic, optically contacted cube assembly consisting of one non-polarizing beamsplitter (NPBS) cube and two polarizing beamsplitter (PBS) cubes. All optical components are bonded without adhesive using optical contact technology, ensuring an alignment-free structure with excellent resistance to temperature variations and mechanical vibration.
Optimized for the 1200–1600 nm wavelength range, the PBPD delivers stable polarization separation, superior SNR performance, and a compact form factor, making it ideal for reliable, long-term field operation and commercial deployment.
